I'm making this donation in memory of my Poppop. He loved life and lived it to the full. Thanks to The Christie we got to make more precious memories over the last four years. Poppop could not speak more highly of the hospital and the care he received, the staff genuinely cared about him and when I heard how they had lined the corridors to wave goodbye when he was discharged during his first remission it filled my eyes with tears and my heart with love. Everyone who had the privilege to know Poppop loved him and that stands for the doctors and nurses at The Christie too. He had such energy and enthusiasm for life and it seems fitting that we raise funds for this amazing hospital in memory of an amazing man.
